Rubber plastic insulation cotton, also known as rubber plastic insulation material, is a closed cell elastic insulation material made mainly from nitrile rubber (NBR) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) through foaming process. It is known as "flexible foam rubber" because of its excellent comprehensive performance.

1.Excellent insulation performance (low thermal conductivity)

Its closed cell foam structure is filled with a large number of tiny independent bubbles inside, which prevent air convection and effectively block thermal conduction.

The thermal conductivity is extremely low (usually between 0.034-0.040 W/(m · K)), which means that only a thin thickness is needed to achieve good insulation effect and significant energy-saving benefits.

2.Excellent moisture resistance (high moisture resistance factor)

This is one of its most prominent advantages. The closed cell structure makes it almost non absorbent, and water vapor cannot penetrate.

The high moisture resistance factor (μ - value>10000) ensures long-term stability of its insulation performance, and will not cause a decrease in insulation effect or mold decay due to moisture absorption. Very suitable for low temperature and high humidity environments such as cold storage and air conditioning.

3.Good fire resistance (B1 level flame retardant)

High quality products usually meet the B1 level flame retardant standard (Chinese national standard), self extinguishing upon ignition, and can effectively prevent the spread of fire.

4.Flexible and elastic, easy to install

The material is soft, elastic, easy to cut and bend, and can tightly adhere to irregular surfaces such as pipelines and equipment, saving time and effort in installation.

Usually comes with PVC or aluminum foil veneer, with a neat and beautiful appearance, without the need for additional decoration.
